About Us

Kala Group Technologies develops and customizes Software As A Service (SaaS) programs for use by the consumer and commercially.Our founders have been building technology solutions for businesses since the 1990’s. Over the past 20 years we’ve built debt management systems, lead generation and sales systems, and most recently, a merchant payment platform.

In 2010 we discovered Bitrix 24. Although it appeared to be rich in the features we needed, and the company seemed to be consistently growing their user base, they were unresponsive to our pleas for help with the platform! Unfortunately, without any assistance, we could not implement the product into our operations. We continued to follow the platform improvements and continued to reach out. We had come to expect that we would never receive a response. Until 2017, when a Partner employee suddenly made contact, willing to talk with us! The mystery was finally solved. Very few people working with these support Partners, spoke English. None of them were physically located in the US. The US market made up a small portion of sales so the need to support it was almost non-existent. We were finally able to implement Bixtrix24 into our own operations and more importantly, we were becoming experts with the platform and began assisting others.

In 2019, we became the only Bitrix24 Partner physically located in the US and focused on helping US companies streamline their operations with the use of the Bitrix24 platform. We provide customization services, User training and support, and general inquiry support to answer questions for any User, not just clients.

Michael Homer

Principal, Kala Group Technologies

Michael Homer is the founding member of Kala Group Technologies and serves as Chief Executive Officer. Michael is responsible to develop technology that drives and delivers client services, identify and secure quality vendor and lender relationships, and develop marketing and lead generation strategies. Michael has been an entrepreneur for more than 40 years. Early in his career in the 1980’s he developed proprietary software that matched leads to lenders in specific industries. He developed the marketing program that generated the leads that utilized the software. He later worked with Georgia Tech University to create a program that pulled credit reports from all three consumer bureaus. With this product, Michael had the first and only minority company in the country to provide online tri- merge credit reports. In the 1990’s Michael founded a debt consolidation company that offered consumer credit counseling and debt consolidation services. Again, he developed the proprietary software that his company used so successfully that his competitors subscribed to use his software. To eliminate the reliance of another company to generate leads for him, Michael created a marketing plan and lead generation software that produced a new lead every 7 seconds. This business became so large and successful that in 2001, Lower My Bills offered to buy the company. Michael was not ready to sell. Today, Michael continues to consult other companies how to grow their businesses with the right technology and how to generate more qualified leads.

Tehani Homer

Principal, Kala Group Technologies

Tehani Homer is a Principal of Kala Group Technologies and serves as Chief Operating Officer. Tehani is responsible for all aspects of daily operations and management with emphasis on development of staff and affiliates along with customer service policies and procedures. With more than 30 years of experience managing multi-million dollar companies and developing and managing annual budgets up to $35 million, Tehani oversees the financial operations of Kala Group. Prior to joining her husband, Michael Homer, in business, Tehani had a successful career as a senior manager in affordable housing. Tehani worked for two of Washington State’s highest rated housing authorities for nearly 20 years where she was instrumental in reforming how housing authorities had operated for decades prior. She was the subject matter expert in several areas of local, state, and federal compliance which was critical to the operational reform of the agencies. In 2013 Tehani was recruited by a private management firm to over-haul the management and operations of the largest affordable multi-family community in the state of Florida. In 2015, when the over-haul was complete and the operations profitable, Tehani left her career to pursue her entrepreneurial dream.
