Twoodo is a new group chat and team collaboration solution that is based on hashtags and mentions. It is currently in beta, so pricing details aren't available. While 'Twitter for your company' idea is rather outdated, Twoodo seems to believe in the concept. Currently Twoodo lacks several important collaboration tools, namely project and document management, videoconferencing, personal and team calendars and integration with email. Also, lack of self-hosted edition of Twoodo, at least while in beta, is a rather serious omission for many companies. If you are looking for a free Twoodo alternative that comes jam-packed with collaboration tools and is available both in cloud and as self-hosted software, Bitrix24 makes a great choice.
